            Human Growth Hormone

Human Growth Hormone (HGH) plays a pivotal role in weight control, and thus its deficiency may lead to obesity, which has become an epidemic worldwide, especially in the United States. Obesity takes away not only your body image, but also your longevity. Obesity is pro-aging, instead of anti-aging.

Those extra pounds in your body can significantly increase your risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, respiratory problems, gallstone-these are all life-threatening conditions that are not anti-aging.

But the most significant pro-aging factor is the reduction of HGH (Human Growth Hormone). With all its anti-aging benefits, HGH is released by the pituitary gland when you are sleeping. If you are obese or with weight problem, most probably you have an eating disorder that makes you crave carbohydrates. If you consume carbohydrates before bedtime, your body produces additional insulin, which inhibits the release of HGH. With lower level of HGH, you sleep less, and therefore produce less HGH and less energy; with less energy, you are prone to eating more carbohydrates, and thus forming a vicious cycle in the reduced production of HGH.

Eating carbohydrates before bedtime also makes you fat because it adds fresh insulin into your body system. The theory behind this is that your body produces Human Growth Hormone (HGH), which is released in the deep recesses of your sleep. However, too much insulin inhibits the release of HGH. As a result, it may not provide you with restful sleep; in addition, it saps your energy, making you want to eat more the next day, or wake up in the middle of night to get a snack or two..

In addition, low level of HGH makes you burn less fat when you sleep, and you gain more body weight. With less HGH, you become more sluggish, you may not want to exercise as much as you should, and, as a result, you build less muscle. Remember, the more muscle you have, the more fat you burn while you sleep.

The bottom line: reduce your consumption of refined sugar and simple carbohydrates, both of which increase your insulin, which in turn inhibits the release of HGH-the anti-aging hormone you need to make you look younger and healthier for longer. Regain your health through nutrition, which will enable you to find solutions to different health problems related to obesity.
